Term: CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures)

Definition: A standardized identifier used to name and track publicly disclosed security vulnerabilities.

Context/Example: To execute its attack, the Stuxnet (2010) attack used the “CVE-2010-2568: Windows LNK file vulnerability” (the most famous part), along with CVE-2010-2772, CVE-2010-3888, CVE-2008-4250, and CVE-2010-2729.
