Risk Assessment

Definition: To assess a certain risk of your computer system. Risk = Threat $\times$ Vulnerability $\times$ Cost. - Threat: Who attacks? - Vulnerability: Where are we weak? - Cost: What do we lose?

Context/Example: A team of developers might have a meeting of what the worst case possible is, and they might come to a conclusion like “We shall not store credit card numbers”.
